There are so many *new* types of fleece on the market now...and yes, some are not safe. The new loopy, very very soft stuff (I do not know what it is called), is not safe. I also suggest staying away from any fleece that is embroidered. If you stick with the reg. type fleece, anti-pill, or micro fleece, you will be allright <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />.

thank you so much!!!
definately not to the loopy stuff. I thinkg that the embrodered fleece is nice for the outside layer of a bonding pouch lined with plain fleece. I would avoid it in the cage though because they may get their fingernails stuck or chew of it. I have some beautiful emoridered fleece that I used to put on the wall behind my cage. You can't really see though so I cam considering replacing it with cheeper plain fleece and using the expensive stuff to make bonding pouches for outside the cage.
