Stealth Wheel

Stealth Wheel - 06/17/06 11:53 PM

Finally got a Stealth Wheel for Stryder from Sugaraesattic this past week and he is having a blast in it!!!! Bless his little pea picking heart, he has only had a little hamster wheel for the longest time and the Stealth Wheel is such a wonderful thing for him to play and exercise on. If any of you haven't gotten one for your glider(s) yet, I highly recommend getting one. Kudos to Anita for coming up with the idea for this wheel.

Do any of our vendors sell them?

You can find the stealth wheel here:

I just got mine last week and it's 1000x better than their old wodent wheel. It stays so much cleaner, is bigger, and my gliders love to climb around on the open grid of the running track.

You can also find the instructions on how to make your own wheel which is quiet as well Here
It is the directions for a flex wheel clone which were VERY popular once before.
Not everyone is able to afford the other wheels that are available out there so Tom was nice enough to take the time to give step by step directions (pics included) to help us out!

I think it's always much more rewarding when your kids get to enjoy something you made for them.. I'm thinking I'm going to have to try my hand at making one of the home made flex clone wheels (well with my hubby's help if needed ).

We have a few Stealth wheels and YES, they are awesome!! Personally, for the price (once you see these things and how well they are built) it's cheaper to buy one than to make one. JMO

I had 8 pouches by the end of the day and everyone really enjoyed making them. Now I'm wondering what they will think when I show up with wheel parts.

I printed out the instructions for the Flex Clone Wheel (is that what it's called?) a long time ago and gave it to my daughter. Her husband is very good at doing things like that. The concensus was that it would be easier and cheaper to just buy the Stealth Wheel. One things for sure, I COULD NOT make one. Stryder would wonder what I was trying to do to him if I put one in his cage that I tried to make.
