im trying to breed to color. what are the best options if i already have a white face male?

Well, first let's see what hets he has. Does he carry any recessive genes? Is he lineaged?

i just texted the breeder i got his parents from and she just happen to tell me she doesnt know the lineaged. When she told me when i got them that she had it. so since i don't no it i shouldnt breed him correct?

Absolutely 100% correct. If I understand your post correctly, you have the parents (intact dad) and they had a male joey. You should have dad and male joey neutered so there is no chance of further joeys.
