Back in action! - 04/11/17 01:01 PM
Ok...TwoDog is officially on his feet again. Leg is worlds better. (delete bear-poking)
Worked like a fiend yesterday trying to get this place ship shape. Got a ton done--Including prepping and freezing a 2 month supply of glider cubes!
(OH THE HUMANITY send me your vegetable and fruit dicing solutions! So tired of chopping.)
This new batch includes tons of stuff they have never had.
Sweet Potatoes
Kale
Peaches
They love the sweet potatoes and even eat the kale! (gotta get a pic of that) ;-)
Had to eject another mouse. Gave up on sealing them out. It's easier to control where the gliders can go from inside the rig, than it is to try and wall the mice out. But that still gives the mice access to the pantry.
New solution: Tupperware storage bins, coffee cans, and moving the location of where things are stored, should be much more effective in mouse control. (Also doubled my condiment carrying capacity!)
Anything they can get at is now in a can, bottle or otherwise mouse proof container. Bon' appetit, guys.
Hate to run them out. I wouldn't care; they don't eat much and they don't chew wires, or pee in the electronics.
But they are a health and hygiene hazard, and that means they gotta go. We have too many bodies on this ship already.
Swept, vacuumed (sp?) and did a full cage cleaning. Glider Laundry. Floors. This place is starting to look (and smell) livable again. Was starting to smell like Tommy Chong's jockstrap.
On track for passage day.
Hopefully tonight I will have some pics of some gold for you guys.
