SEIZURES!!! Help Please!

SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/08/03 08:41 PM

I posted about this in Behavior and Anatomy, but since this has become more of a health issue I wanted to post here.

Kylie was shaking pretty badly last night when I got her out to play. She was more clumsy than usual and kept falling off of slick surfaces, which is normal, but not to such an extent. She did not eat any of her BML, fruits or veggies last night, but ate about 10 mealworms (I'm not sure of the exact number because she got to them before I counted) in the evening. This may be why she didn't eat last night, because I gave her the mealies much later than usual.

Today I gave her the liquid calcium the vet prescribed last week, but had to restrain her to do so. Afterwards, she was shaking really violently. She went into my shirt and kept shaking, then her head started moving (turning) left, right, left, right, etc. about 10 times. I decided not to wait around for replies and called the vet that is just down the road. They have some experience with sugar gliders since at least 2 of the employees there have them. It was 1:05 and they were able to get me in at 1:15. Kylie was still shaking when I got there. She has gone from 65 grams (Dr. Fronefield's visit) to 59 grams today. The vet tech held her (I was amazed that Kylie let her...she usually doesn't like other people during the day) and she was still shaking. She sat on the doc's shoulder a minute and was still shaking. The vet said that physically she looked fine, other than the tremors. She does not think they are seizures since they are constant. She said it may be a protein deficiency just now showing up from when Kylie wouldn't eat anything with protein in it a couple months ago (before I started feeding mealies). I am to give her lots of mealies, and I am going to try a pinky tonight.

I called Dr. Fronefield's office (where I took her last week when she was acting funny) to let him know and see what he thought about it. He was not there but the other doctor thinks she may be hypoglycemic. This never came up at the vet today so I called to ask her about it. She is supposed to call me back later.

The doctor said if it is not a protein deficiency it could be a neurological or nervous system problem. She hopes it is the protein. If things do not get better I will be taking Kylie up to College Station to have blood work done.

Please keep us in your thoughts.

P.S. The vet also said I should get her a playmate...I told her I'm trying.

Please know you will be in our prayers. The unknown with gliders can drive us and the Vets crazy.
We just need to know so much more about them.

Please keep us posted.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/08/03 08:54 PM

Vet just called back. Doesn't think she is hypoglycemic...something about her eating habits...said if she was hypoglycemic her eating would go up and down....like she would eat somtimes and not eat others...but since she ate the meal worms last night...she doesn't think this is the case.

I'm gonna go to gliderhealth.com and try to talk to some folks there.

Thanks Charlee...I am so happy to be a part of a group like this...I don't know what I would do if I didn't have people like you to help me through times like these.

Just wanted to let you guys know that Kylie is sleeping...and she doesn't shake while she is asleep. So I'm happy for that.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/08/03 10:53 PM

I think Kylie is having seizures...she is shaking really violently and then she will stop for a short time...then start shaking violently again. She shakes longer than she stops though.

I just don't know what to do!!! I hate watching her go through this...I feel totally helpless.

Just got back from the vet again. They said they couldn't do anything for her. Referred me to Dr. Antinoff near the Galleria. Have to wait till 10 tomorrow AM. Is there anything I can do to make her more comfortable tonight?

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 12:03 AM

Amie,

I really hope the vet finds out what is wrong with your gliders.
Both of you will be in my thoughts

Question, when she is shaking do her eyes roll back?

Thank you

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 12:08 AM

Candice...I am pretty sure her eyes are NOT rolling back when she shakes. Thanks to you and Steph for keeping us in your thoughts.

P.S. She is sleeping peacefully in her travel pouch right now. I want her in my bra but don't want to disturb her since she has not slept much today.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 02:05 AM

Aime,

Do you feed BML? Has your glider always been on this diet?
There is enough protein in there for her...mealworms do not provide a lot of protein.

Could it be possible that she has gotten a hold of something that has poisoned her?
I know that Johns glider was having seizures not too long ago and was misdiagnosed with having a calcium deficiency but really it way his daughters nail polish remover that had poisoned him.

If this keeps going on I think you need to go to an emergency vet.

Thank you

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 03:01 AM

Please warm the baby up. He more than likly is dehydrated and needs sub q fluids. Dw5 is suggested as it has dextrose to help with be hypoglacemia. Warm him with warm blankies from the mircrowave set at about a min or so each time. Not hot but toasty. Take a 1 ml syringe and try to get juice down him. But this glider has more going on than being hypoglacemic.

Take to an emer. vet ASAP If unable to locate one....then start calling all the numbers in the phone book of vets with home numbers. Often if you have a name they will be listed in the white pages. Be persistant and focused. You can locate a vet. If he needs help I am confidant that we here can link him with a knowledgable vet for helping with DXing and dosages of meds.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 03:47 AM

Hi Amie,

Kylie’s symptoms sound alarmingly familiar…

I echo most of the advice you’ve been given--you need to keep Kylie hydrated. In addition to regular Sub-Q fluids, I also recommend mixing red tea and fructose together. Red tea is an excellent antioxidant that helps rid the body of toxins. The best way to rid the body of toxins is NOT antibiotics but to flush it out of the system.

My gliders were eventually prescribed Clavimox but it might not be the best antibiotic to use because, though it may kill Kylie’s toxins, it also releases more toxins into the bloodstream. These toxins could prove lethal.

I know you already have an appointment with Dr. Antinoff tomorrow, but I would seriously advise you find another vet. I don't want to disrespect anyone, but when my gliders first got sick I took them to Dr. Antinoff and Dr. Chen at Gulf Coast. Six hundred dollars later, the vet had misdiagnosed my babies as calcium deficient.

Amie, I cannot stress enough how important it is to keep Kylie hydrated. By the time I found an adequate treatment for my gliders they had been misdiagnosed for about two weeks. The toxins had taken over some of my babies so severelythat nothing could save them.

If I had to do it over again I would have forgone the antibiotics and concentrated on flushing out the toxins.

Good luck and please keep us updated.

Amie,

I am sooo very sorry for what you are going through . I know that you and Kylie are great together. Please, don't beat yourself up and lost it. I know that you are doing everything you can. I am praying for you and Kylie. I just read and it just hurts that I can't help any more then these guys have. They have given lots of good advice and I hope that some is possible. I just wish that there were other ways that I could help. Are you going to be able to make it to Houston tomorrow??? PLEASE keep us posted and let us know how she is doing. We are all praying for you and wishing you two the very very best. If there is nothing else you can do, it's going to be hard, but lay down with her, even put her in your bra (even if you have to disturb her) and REST!! If not take a nap, lay down with a blanket and watch TV with her. If there is nothing else that you can do, then take my advice, it may help.

PRAYING FOR YOU GUYS,

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 09:59 PM

Went to the vet...still can't figure out what's wrong. I have spent over $350 this week in vet bills and don't know what's wrong. Today the vet took some blood and is having it sent out for a profile. It will take about 24 hours to get the info back. The vet went ahead and prescribed baytril and valium...to keep her shaking down. It doesn't seem to be working but I am afraid to up the dosage. The vet said the outlook is not good for the future. I didn't actually see Dr. Fronefield...I saw a lady...who was really good...she wasn't sure about the valium so she asked Dr. Fronefield about possible problems. He said that at this point we have nothing to lose...

Since the visit, Kylie has gotten worse. She started walking (if you can call it that) on tip toes with back arched high. I have read about that before but can't remember what it means or what it was related with. Now she has been..trying to walk around on me...but is having like random muscle spasms in her legs...one, two, or even three at at time...causing her to fall over completely. I bought her some mealworms because they were her favorite. She didn't have the strength or ability to bite through them, and she couldn't grip them with her hands.

I couldn't get a stool sample because she was having problems going potty. Only saw a tiny bit last night, none this morning, but when I got home from the vet...she did go...but it was not all stool...she had ingested something...don't know what it is. Size and shape of a little seed. Beige color...I am pretty darn sure it didn't come from anything I have been feeding her...called the vet and asked if it's possible she ingested it before all these symptoms began...like how long it could have been in her system. He said anywhere from 8 hours to weeks. I said maybe that was something toxic that she ate...but he said if it was a toxin...it would have either killed her or she would have been rid of it within 12 to 24 hours. He said it was possible that if it was blocking her digestive tract somewhere along the way it could cause her to become hypoglycemic?? I don't really remember what exactly he said...a lot of it didn't really make sense to me.

I was excited that maybe we had figured out the problem...now I have pretty much lost hope again.

Amie we have been waiting all day to hear from you.
Is she still walking like you described? Did she pass the seed like thing before or after she started walking different?

We will be here for you. You are NOT alone.

Sorry for the questions but did they change the Calcium dosage they had her on?

Sending love and prayers.

Yes, I have been checking about every 15 minutes for an update and now I have one - I'm sorry, Amie, I'm so very sorry. HOWEVER, maybe things will look up - she passed whatever it was so.... Sorry if I'm rambling, I have great hopes for Kylie and you need to keep your spirits up for both of you! Prayers coming your way big time!

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 10:27 PM

1)Is still walking this way
2)Started before passing the seed
3)Doc did not change calcium dosage...still worried about possible deficiency...will know for sure when blood work comes back

Ellen...I do not mind the questions. I know you only ask because you are trying to help. So keep em coming!

Charlee...sorry to keep you waiting. (I'm not just being sarcastic...I really mean it.) After I finally got back from the vet I was locked out of the house for about 45 mins...then was on the phone with Mary and the vet's office.

P.S. Talked to Ryan on the phone last night. He was worried about a possible toxin. After seeing what she passed...I am too, despite what the vet said...the vet I saw today at that office did say that it was possible...so basically they are contridicting each other....And I have no way of knowing who is right. Anyway...Ryan suggested I try to flush the toxins out of her system with lots of liquids and red tea. Will be trying this along with continuing the baytril.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 10:33 PM

Also...going to give the valium another go...as I am pretty sure the first dose just went down her chin. That was at noon...and have not seen it help whatsoever as of yet. Since it has been 4 and a half hours since then...I don't feel that it's a case of it just not kicking in yet.
Posted By: Anonymous

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 10:36 PM

On second thought...the vet said that depending on the cause of the shaking/seizures...the valium may or may not help. So even though it has not done anything...I am afraid I might od her if I give her more....I will wait for an opinion on this. I have given her .05 cc's twice now...since noon...the second was about 1 o' clock. The first I think just dribbled down her chin....

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 10:53 PM

Thanks Charie...I'm so glad you guys are optimistic here...I was trying to be...but after today...I just don't know....

I was feeding some juice and water out of a syringe...ended up with a damp glider...wrapped her in a piece of fleece and stuck in my shirt. She is calming down a lot. Hopefully she will take a nap. Still shaking but at least she is not trying to go anywhere...It just hurts to see her trying to walk. You can't possibly imagine this behavior unless you have seen it. It is awful.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 10:55 PM

Amie, I just spoke with Tom and he and I agree that the way you describe her walking with her back arched and all could be do to abdominal discomfort (pain). I too could not put my finger on it and then remembered one of my little ones that would put his head down and almost tuck it into his chest and would do this every few seconds or min. The Vet told me then his tummy hurt. She was right.

If she passed that little "seed" like thing could there be more there or could this have been blocking her? Were her stools normal and consistant before today?

I agree with Ryan that flusing her out may help alot. Did they give her any fluids at the Vets's?Sub-Q?
Posted By: Anonymous

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 11:01 PM

Ellen...Ok...I think I misunderstood your first question. She only did the arched back, walking on toes thing before she passed the seeds....or whatever they are. Since then she has just been doing the weird random muscle spasm can't keep all legs on the ground walking thing. Stools before last night were normal. She has also gone since then...it was normal also.

The vet did give a sub-q injection while Kylie was under anestesia for blood work.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 11:07 PM

Actually...she has gone potty twice since the seeds...my uncle just found some on my back...LOL...it seems that those things were really stopping her up...but she has not shown any type of improvement since passing them.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 11:09 PM

Can or will she eat the BML even off of your finger? IF she just wants mealies you could smash them up so she could just eat the mush.

Watch and see if her back arches again and then watch and see if she does pass anything else.

I am glad they gave her the fluids did they give you any to bring home with you to give her?

Gosh I wish we could be with you right now.

I have to feed my "gang" so will be off line for a little while. But Amie, you have my number if you want to call.
Posted By: Anonymous

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 11:20 PM

Ellen...Kylie can eat the BML out of the syringe. I also gave her some fruit baby food...I did break the mealies in half for her...and let her lick the insides...wanted to make sure she got some just in case...they're her favorite

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 11:27 PM

I missed your post about her going more. We must have been posting at the same time.

Amie, I sure would force fluids as much as you can along with the BML. If she did have a blockage you may be onto something. Give her a chance to clean herself out. And the fluids and BML will help. I would go easy or none at all with veggies just stay with some fruit that will help hydrate her and help move more stool.

Now I gotta go feed mine or they will be coming to get me LOL.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 11:30 PM

Ellen...whenever you get back from feeding time....do you really think that a blockage could be causing all this??? If so...I will definately have hope...will stay up all night feeding again...not that I would sleep anyway...

Glider Greetings, Amie

Am very sorry to be reading about Kylie's troubles. Hopefully it will work out and she will regain her health. I have zero experience with glider health problems so this may not amount to a hill of beans.......seems to me that, if the shaking is the result of a true seizures, she would not sleep quietly as you have suggested??? I assume that a true seizure would occur whether she was awake or asleep??? The fact that she shakes only while awake may mean something; but, I don't know what???

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 11:44 PM

Honey, I don't really know. At this point it may be a ray of light. You were so smart to look so closley at the stool. That's why I said lets get some nutrition into her that may help give her strengh and if there is more push the rest out along with whatever has backed up. This is a good reason we say NOT to give seeds. I KNOW you don't but even a little thing like a seed can cause blockage.
I wish I could tell you for sure that's what it is but lets keep hope. As I said earlier the way she is walking could be from a tummy ache. Again HOPE. At this point anything she can do to improve at the least is good. She will need to rest some too. She has had a long day. But I would make sure she gets those fluids and nutrients too.
gonna feed gliders I hear cages rattleing.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/09/03 11:57 PM

Randy...I know now that they are not really seizures...didn't at the time I first posted...the not shaking while asleep thing is definately a question i wouldn't mind an answer to...I think it's one of the few things that haven't been addressed yet...

Ellen...I will keep hoping. she definately needs some energy. The shakes actually seem to have gotten a bit better...she is still shaking non stop...but not as violently...there are more violent moments...and she is getting scared very easily...but she is very weak right now. I tried getting her to take a nap, but no go...as weak as she is...she doesn't want to stay in one place for any length of time...

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/10/03 01:15 AM

Amie,
after reading through all of these posts, one thing comes to mind.
You say she passed seed, and her posture might indicate she had blockage. Also toxins are suspected ?

Well my train of thought is this. if she had a blockage, that could have possibly led to her intestines busting open, and that in turn would cause toxins to enter the body...
I agree with Ryan, to flush out toxins, but to also do antibiotics.

That is what i would do.

I once set up seticism in my body, and it gave me the shakes.

Maybe it's an idea to discuss with the vet.

Hope all will be well soon...

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/10/03 02:25 AM

I am so sorry to hear about Kylie. I will be praying for her.

I realize that gliders and hamsters are quite a bit different, but what you are describing (minus the seed in the stool) is exactly what was happening to one of my hamsters. She was extremely ill, very weak, shaking uncontrollably, ears down, eyes half shut, muscle spasms, falling over, unable to keep balance, etc. Do you have a cat? We managed to nurse Bianca back to health with a lot of fruit that was high in water (melon, etc) and a lot of TLC. One thing we were able to see when she was getting better was a nick on the side of her face that resembled a cat scratch. It was a cat scratch. Cats have a toxin that they use to slow down and kill their prey.
Maybe you don't have a cat and this could be a total shot in the dark, but I thought I would bring it up just on the off chance that maybe you do.
I hope Kylie gets better soon. You are doing an amazing job. Take care and best of luck.

Tager...I DO have a cat...and you had me thinking there for a minute...is there ANY way that the cat could have gotten to Kylie...I am pretty sure not...but then I remember that she doesn't have any front claws anyway....thank you for thinking of me though.

Reyoko...thanks for adding your thoughts too...I think though if it was something like that...she wouldn't have made it this long...I could be wrong and I could definately bring it up at the vets, but that was my thought on it.

Amie, I too am following your post with baited breath...you're doing great...Kylie knows it too, keep up the great work.

My thoughts are...she is weak and tired from all the commotion, and it does sound alot like she might be in discomfort (not sleeping...restless). Trust your gut...that is what got me through Tira's episode...and in the end, it was what I suspected. Is it possible for the vet to take a look at the *seed*? That would at least give them and yourself an idea what exactly it is...or was.

Just a suggestion...how about the Pedialtye popsicles for fluids too? Good electrolytes, and easy to digest. Temporary of course.

O good luck hun...I am rambling...wish I could help you too...

keep looking up as my old glider just got over 2 weeks of a respitory infection, on bayril. i saw her wheezing and sleeping day and night so i rushed her to the emergency vet who new nothing about gliders, i told her to give me baytril as i new it was in her chest. 2 weeks later shes her old self again if this vet isnt glider knowledgeable try another. it took alot of work to get my glider well but, it paid off. they can get better dont give up.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/10/03 05:08 AM

Amie,

I have been checking and reading, it's great to hear an update on Kylie. I am still hoping and praying for the best. I see that you weren't able to get even a little rest. It's glad to hear that she isn't shaking as violently as she was. I know you didn't give her the seed, but do you have any idea of what type of seed that it was?? Maybe your sister tried to feed her something while she and her friends had her out?!?! I'm not saying anything, I am just suggesting any ways to how she could've gotten that seed. Do you feed KIWIs? Well, will be waiting on more posts and updates. Thanks,

Praying for you guys. I really hope everything will pass and you guys will get some rest.

Thanks,
Tammy

It has been a long night, I managed to get a couple hours of sleep...just woke up and so did Kylie (sort of...she doesn't seem really there) but soon after we woke up she threw up. It was a pretty good amount. It was kind of a white milky fluid along with some BML. She is dehydrated though...I can't get her to drink anything though...If I put a little bit of water on her mouth, she does not swallow it.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/10/03 04:28 PM

Please keep us posted on how the sweeties are doing, both of them. I am praying for them and hoping that they will figure out what is wrong with Amie's Kylie. Did she figure out what the seed may have been or how she got it?? It's amazing what these guys can get a hold of. I just read where someone's glider got a flinstone vitamin. It's quite amazing.

I will be waiting to hear some news from Amie, or anyone else that is in touch with her.

KEEP THEM IN YOUR PRAYERS,

I hesitate to post for Amie. But under the circumstance she may not be on for a little while

Her baby died on the way to the Vet's.

I have spoken with her and she thanks everyone for thier support and caring. She cant believe the outpouring of support.

I am sure she will be on as soon as she can to post. I don't know how much time she needs.

I know we have all been waiting to see how she is, and I hope I didnt overstep any bounds by posting this.

I am so very sad. I have always loved reading about Kylie. It's almost as though I lost one of my own pets.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/10/03 06:46 PM

Oh, Ellen, thanks so much for keeping us posted...even though it wasn't what we were hoping for.

It just sad that she didn't make it to the vet.

Amie loved kylie soooo much and they were perfect for each other. It's just so sad to hear that she is gone now. Amie must be torn up pretty badly. We all did what we could and Amie did as well. Hopefully Amie will keep her high spirits after all that has happened. It's never good to lose one, it's like losing a child, but at least Kylie isn't suffering any more. Now we have to help Amie with her suffering and her loss. We were all pulling for the best and lots of ppl gave lots of good advice, I just think that vets need to be a little more educated. The vets that do see gliders, and the vets that don't see them should be familiar with them in case of an emergency.

***I'M SOOO SORRY AMIE***

Oh my...

It broke my heart when she said that she was pressing her face against her finger to stop shaking. I just read the whole thread. This is a very sad ending. Sounds like Amie did everything she could for Kylie. Kylie had such a wonderful loving mom. I am sorry for your loss Amie. I'm sure she knows how much you loved her and how hard you to tried to help her. Sending *hugs* your way.

Oh - heart strings being tugged so hard..... I'm so very sorry Amie - Kylie will see you at the Bridge - she had to know she was loved and that is all any of us, human or animal, can ask from life. She had a good life - thanks to you

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/10/03 07:53 PM

I just tucked my baby in for the last time. We buried her in Jeremy's mom's back yard, in a wooden box lined with pink fleece. It was so hard closing the lid on that box...We planted a white azalea bush where she is resting.

Like Ellen said, Kylie died on the way to the vet. I feel terrible because she was under my sweater...since it got cold this morning...and I was checking on her frequently...but I did not know when she passed. I am just afraid that she felt alone...I hope she knew that she was with me.

She was just a baby....I don't understand...I only had her for 4 months...I never dreamed something like this would happen...especially so soon...but now my baby is gone. I miss her so. My boyfriend is also taking this very hard. Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers as well.

The love, support, and kindness I have gotten from those following Kylie's illness have been overwhelming. I have heard other people say this when they have gone through problems with their babies, but you just don't understand how much it means unless it is your baby. Thank you all so much for your thoughts and prayers for us. I really need to thank Ellen, for letting me call her in the middle of the night last night...and walking me through a bunch of things...Mary H for being a great breeder and person and for always being there to help me and Kylie if we needed it...Bourbon and Tom Havens...for calling me last night and letting me know what to ask for at the vet...and to all of these people and many others for sharing their stories with me in hopes that it would help Kylie. Also...to the EVF and all those who run it and donate their time and money...which is going to pay for Kylie's necropsy in hopes that it will help other gliders in the future. Please forgive me if I forgot anyone.

This post wore me out...I will post in Real Stories soon...and then, mods, feel free to close this one.

Thank you again to EVERYONE.

Oh yes...the vet did not find anything abnormal during the necropsy...will have to wait for the lab report to come back.

I'm going to try to take a nap now...I know you all think I need it, and you're right. When I wake up and have a little more energy to go through this again...I will post in Real Stories.

Our Dearest Amie,

I am so sorry that Kylie passed away. We have all hoped and prayed that she would come through this illness. Your courage and strength has moved a lot of us to tears. Kylie owned the very best human that she could and I know that you two were perfect for each other.

You and your boyfriend have beautiful Kylie memories to treasure... so do we.

Glider love, hugs and blessings.

Amie, You said you weren't sure when she went, that she was in your sweater and you hoped she knew she wasn't alone. She knew she was with you, which is exactly what she wanted. She could feel your love in every heart beat and every breath you took and in every breath she took and smelled your skin. She was surrounded by it and by you. I'm sure she is at peace, and went peacefully. I'm also sure she would want you to be at peace for her. She is no longer sick or suffering. She is gliding to her little hearts content over the bridge just waiting on you!
Take care dear Amie and know that our prayers are with you.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/10/03 11:33 PM

Hey everyone,
it's kylie's daddy...
I just wanted to thank everyone for the help and support, and Ellen, it really helped last night for amie to be able to call you, it helped her stay calm for kylie knowing you were there. It still seems unreal, like when we get back to huntsville she will be there climbing on the side of her cage waiting for us. I miss her sooo mcuh. Amie didn't mention this in her last post, but this morning at the house, kylie was able to take a few unshaky steps, prolly due to the valium, but all the same the shaking was over.
Oh, and just so y'all know, amie is asleep on the couch right now, even though i know she'd rather be awake taking care of kylie if she had the chance, but she definitely needed the sleep.
Again, thank you to everyone.

Re: SEIZURES!!! Help Please! - 01/11/03 12:05 AM

Jeremy, you were a God send to her and Kylie. I know you are huring also. I could here it in your voice as Amie and I spoke. My heart and prayers go to you for being so strong for Amie and Loveing Kylie like you do. Amie seemed so happy when you were holding Kylie and Kylie slept so peacefully in your hands.

You and Amie dont think for one nanosecond that Kylie didnt know she was loved and being taking care of. She was a spunky little one and real fighter.

Our love and prayers are with you both.

Jeremy - it is very nice of you to post and let us know that Amie is getting some much needed sleep. Also that Kylie was able to move somewhat normally this morning - I am so glad you could be there for Amie and Kylie - sounds like you love them very much. Know that my thoughts are with all of you and be sure to tell Amie - I think Kylie is very pleased looking down at the Azalea bush!
