I lost Felix

Felix died earlier this morning from whatever it was that was ailing him. For all who read this, please please please keep this in mind: If you notice your glider bloated, take him to a vet right away. Even if he is acting fine, eating fine, it doesn't mean anything as I've found out. Like I said in my posts in the health forum, the fluid that was tested revealed nothing harmful about it. Nothing was blocked. Other than the fact that Felix was filled with some sort of fluid, everything was ok, save for runny stools. All in all, this very well might have been a bad virus. Just keep an eye on everything. I'm going to take Felix to the vet tomorrow and have an autopsy done to see if we can find anything new about this. Thanks for all the support.

Oh, Megan. I am so sorry you lost Felix. You were such a good glider Mommy to him. Felix was so lucky to have been loved by you.

I do hope the vet is able to find the cause to help give you some closure to your little one's passing.

It's not easy to have an autopsy on these little guys we're so close to either, but whatever they find might save other little ones, too.
