Hello Again, I have yet another question about Sugies and their normal behaviors.

Recently I noticed my Male Sugar Glider has been "Bullying" my female sugar glider (His Cage Mate) he chatters at her and they squabble every now and then over who gets what food and who drinks from the water bottle first, etc. However, I just noticed today that he is actually biting at her feet when she is eating. She has to keep moving in order for him to let her be. What is making him do this and how could I get him to stop? I feel bad for my little girl because she is constantly being hoarded around by him and he will not let her be no matter what. They are my breeding pair as well so he is not neutered.

Thanks In advance smile

It's possible that she's in heat.

But if you only notice is when she's eating then it also might be some food aggression. You'll definitely want to put multiple feeding stations in the cage.

Put some high, some low, and maybe another in a kitchen. This way, they don't have to eat near each other. Also, make sure the food is in the cage *before* they wake up in the evening. And put enough food so there is a little bit left over, so that you know they're each getting enough.

Thank-You smile I think she is in heat because I have been hearing and seeing alot of interaction between the two. Thanks a ton for all the tips, I am also going to put a kitchen in the cage as well so I think I will take your advice. Have a Great Night!
