I've had my little girl for about two weeks. Last night, she jumped out of her cage on me and then off she went under a bed. I finally got her, but it was a crazy hunt in my daughter's bedroom at 1:30 in the morning. I have a teenage daughter and just being in her room is scary let alone a lost glider! How do I keep my glider from jumping off me and running?

You really can't because they do love the freedom to run, jump, play and at some point even glide :jump2:

You must make sure the room you are in is a safe place for them to be with no hiding spaces you cannot get to or find them.

It takes time and if this is in the evening, your glider is wanting to play and explore.

Start with a bonding pouch and slowly work to your bra or pocket.

I have found that when they are on my shoulder, I constantly sway.
This way they can't get good balance to jump from.

Constantly moving is a good way to keep them on you. They can't zone in on the area they want to jump to.

With ours, once we notice them bobbing their hear side to side we start moving around so they stay put.
