Hey guys, I just acquired a 5th glider and I need to either upgrade to a larger cage, or do 2 cages. I havent quite decided yet! I have one girl that gets picked on my current quad, so I was thinking about outing her in the cage with my new guy (yes he's neutered, all my boys are!) I was looking at these two cages to put the entire colony in. What do you think? The bar spacing is correct, I'm just worried about the wood frame absorbing pee! There is also the space they take up, but i rarely use my dining room anyway!

The second one would give them so much space, they wouldn't know what to do! Thanks!

I wouldn't recommend either. #1 is weather treated pine #2 is made from cypress fir. I don't think either are glider safe if they decide to chew on it. Plus the pee issue. They would hold smell from that also.

Here are some links to cages that most glider people use.

I use these: HQ Flight Cage

A lot of people use these, you can add on til they are 3 high and some people have even connected them so they are 3 high and 2 across: Critter Nation Cage Just make sure that you get the Critter Nation or the bar spacing will be to wide.

Congratulations on the new addition to your glider family! Those wooden cages are definitely beautiful, but probably not practical.

Check out this one if you want something a little more stylish than the usual... http://www.sugar-gliders.com/glider-cages/9-sugar-glider-cage-deluxe-hexagonal.html
