Ok I have some questions about BML
I am switching my diets after I heard my diet wasnt the best and the breeder is a bad breeder I get my food from.
How do you put it in the freezer? Ice Cube trays? I heard that cause probelms though.
If you have 2 suggies and one wakes up ealier could they eat all there fruits and the other fruits?
I put it in a tube ware bowl how much do I feed them?>

I don't feed the BML diet, but I know from reading the board that you can freeze it in ice cube trays or other containers to scoop out like icecream. I think it's one cube per suggie, but not for certain on that. I know there's many that do feed BML and will be along soon to reply to ya

It is 1 cube per 2 suggies. I no you can put it in ice cube trays but have heard people having probelm with that.

I make the BML and then freeze in ice cube trays. Once frozen I pop out of the tray and store in freezer ziplock baggies. What problems have you hear of with using the ice cube trays?

Before freezing in the trays, be sure to measure how much each cube holds. You should feed 1 tablespoon of BML per glider. I use trays that hold 2 tablespoons per cube so I feed one cube per pair -- but that will vary with how much each cube in your tray holds.

If you are concerned that one glider will eat all the fruits and veggies before the other wakes up, just feed the BML first. When the second glider wakes up, you can then put the fruits and veggies in the cage so they both get a chance to eat them.

HTH and let us know if you have any other questions

I have found that my ice trays absorb the smells from the freezer... that might affect whether your suggies eat it. I use a plastic container. It's tupper ware and is a rectangle about 2 inches thick... perfect size for the bml. I use a warm butter knife to cut it into cubes and then scoop out a cube every night for them. My girl really likes it.

2 suggies should get 2 tablespoons a night (one ice cube). And that should last you about 2 weeks. I only have one glider and it lasts a month. Here's the web page I use. Same as others just includes pictures.

BML Diet Plan

It is simple because tells you what you can do if you can't find what they are looking for... for instance I can't find the yogurt juice so I use the alternative (you'll see.)

I've heard that about ice cube trays as well. I use a tuperware container with a lid and then use a knife to cut to the bottom as well. The reason to cut to the bottom is that some people have informed me the vitamins settle before it freezes, so to have a balanced meal, the slice should include both top and bottom rather than just scooping the top like you would ice cream.

Oh, about the yogart juice...do you have a walmart or target with a baby food section? Sometimes the yogart juice is hard to find (ie is on the very bottom shelf and you practically have to kneel to find it). Every grocery store, walmart and target I've been to has it, but it is always the same- hidden on this very bottom shelf in 4-packs.

Yes, it's one tablespoon of BML per glider (as well as one tablespoon each of fruits and veggies, per glider). I once used ice cube trays, but the BML just stuck to the tray. It didn't pop out easily or cleanly. So, I put it in an air-tight Rubbermaid container and cut it up.

I noticed when I first started feeding the BML, the premixed juice with yogurt was in a plastic jar, then I found it in a glass jar, and now I'm finding it in a plastic "tub." So, if you're like me, you have to read each baby food container to find it.

I use ice trays. I like it premeasured. I put my ice trays in the extra large ziplocs.

I have tried using both a container and ice cube trays. "Scoop it out like ice cream" Is a bad way to explain it. It's more like rock hard ice cream. I love using ice cube trays. I use a knife (safely) Pop out the ice cube of BML and since I only have one glider, I cut the ice cube in half easily.
