II can't believe I'm here again. We lost PIckachu at about 10:45 this morning. He died in much the same manor as Cider. Part of Cider's necropsy is in and points to a slow toxic effect of something I fed him. I'm assuming crickets. I'm so sorry Pickachu. :cry

You are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through the grieving for these two little ones. [/]

Oh, Carrie! I'm so sorry to hear about Pickachu! This is too much, too soon, for you to handle, I know. I pray your heart heals quickly as you remember only your fond moments together.

I can't believe you lost another....I am so sorrry!!! Does you vet have any idea exactly what is causing this? He is with Cider atthe Rainbow Bridge now, and they are both watching over you. May your heart heal with time, and know we are all here with you.

OMG...I'm so sorry you lost another glider. I hope that you will be able to discover the cause of these deaths and share it with us. I don't know what to say to make you feel better, but I hope that you can find solace in your other babies. Since you are such a good owner, maybe you will even invite more gliders into your life. Again, I'm so sorry for your losses. I'll pray to give you strength.

With Sympathy,
Polgara

I am so very sorry to hear about Pickachu so soon after the loss of Cider.
You mentioned that it could be from the crickets. Is there any indication that this could be caused by aflatoxins?

My heart just breaks for you and the glider families left behind. You are in our thoughts!

Oh this has to be devastating to you. I cannot imagine loosing multi gliders and the guilt that comes with it.

Please when you are up to it...post as to the possible known cause of deaths. Their passing...may help save so many more lives in the future so they in a way will live on.

May God be with you to help comfort you during this difficult time.

Thank you all and I will update as soon as the rest of the necropsy is in. I had a necropsy with slides done. and apparently the slides are what we are waiting for. None of this will bring Pickachu and Cider back but hopefully it will keep others from making the same mistake I did, whatever that may be. I sure miss my little guys right now.
