I too have lost my little love one. I have left her and mate out overnight in my large bathroom, thinking they would love the adventures, etc....have done it many times, waking as they played all night. Now she is now
here to be found and my loss is tremendous.Don't make the mistake I made, too painful.

Check the house, Gliders can get under the doors, maybe she is still around?

If this was within a day or two maybe leave some of her favorite food out overnight, if it's gone in the morning you'll know she's still around, might make her way back to her pouch?

Gretta, Disconnect your dryer hose from the wall and seal the hole to the outside. I once caught a missing hamster making his escape that way.. Pound on all appliances before running them. I'll be praying that she is still in the house and that you find her. you might also want to leave a half inch of water in all of your sinks at night so if she is there she will have something to drink.
------------------
Live and Love
Donny, Kristy, Scooter, Squeaker, Skipper
and our new baby boys

Not to sound morbid, but check inside (behind) your fridge and oven. The electric coils on the appliances can electrocute a small animal. Checking a/c ducts could be an option also.

K, first, don't take anything outside without checking for your glider there. If your glider is outside, the chance of recovery is slim. Be body concious- you don't want to squish your glider or anything like that. Leave some food and water out for him to drink. At night your glider will probably start jumping around, and then you can get your glider. The main thing for now is making sure your glider isn't hurt by putting the toliet seat down, checking all electric devices before you turning them on, things like stoves.
Hope you find your glider!

I just thought of something. You said you left them in the bathroom...do your drains have something to keep the hair from going down the drain? Even if it's the 3 sectioned little thingy on the inside. If they don't then she might have made her way down the drain.

Leave food out in a few places...
I would set your alarm for about 3am and leave most of the lights out, but enugh for you to see. then det down on your hands and knees and well crawl around the house. Listen for any little noise...be sure to spend a few minuits in each room Listening...Good Luck I hope he is ok.

I was just wondering (I'm sure everyone else is too) what happened? Did you ever find her? Please! Let us know something.

Hi everyone, I was so upset, depressed, etc. that I forgot to come back here and say something. I received an e mail at home today encouraging me to write back. I did everything everyone suggested, everything and still I never found her. THis is an old house(117 yrs.) and I am thinking some how she managed to get outdoors. I even went out a night calling but 3wks. have passed. Thanks for all of your kind words, I should have come bk. here sooner. Have since adopted another unwanted young fe.glider who hasn't been touched in 2mos. I am patiently working with her. Again thanks for the words of love and concern, they mean alot to me. I've learned never to leave them out all night even though I could hear them playing throughout the night. Don't make the mistake I made.

Gretta,
I am so sorry. I know, from my recent loss, how desperate your search was, and how much you've replayed the events over and over again. I will make sure that I don't leave my new glider out in even the most secure room overnight. Please know that others will learn from your experience. And I would even pray that your little one still turns up, even though I know that's not likely. Good luck with your new glider, and thanks for sharing your wisdom. I'm so sorry.
