I have a question, about how many days longer does a single joey stay in the pouch than if there were 2 joeys? Just curious. My Tootsie has a single joey right now. And i saw her sticking out of the pouch today!!! So exciting! She seemed to have a really dark color to her. I bet he/she will be beutiful.

but don't single joeys stay in the pouch longer due to having more room? That's what i heard, i was just wondering about how much longer they do. Or is it hard to tell? I think her joey came all the way oop today cause she changed pouches to her cabana and she was very crabby and wouldn't let me get a look and she put the balanket so it covered up the hole like she didn't want her baby to crawl out. The only time she ever acted like this was w/ her last set of joeys when they came oop. But it's back in now. I'm very excited, and nervous. I'm hoping for the best.

They stay in pouch the same approximate amount of time. Some joeys stay in longer whether they are twins or singles doesn't seem to matter where that is concerned. I have had quite a few twins and quite a few singles and they all came out after the same approximate amount of time so you should see that joey off the nipple sometime very soon. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> Congrats!!!

I think it depends on mama as to how long the joeys stay IP. Honey's joeys were IP for 73 days and she had 2, but they were at the stage of development that they should be when they come OOP. Mom will know when it's the right time for them to come out...
