if i would get a white tail male and breed it with a regular color female what are the chances that the babies have white tails? <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thinkerg.gif" alt="" />

u might want to search in this forum regarding white tip genetics to get more information as it has been discussed just recently.......the breeding of white tips and how the gene is passed is not known so it's not as simple as putting a white tip with a normal and getting white tip babies all the time...

I don't know of anybody that's actually gotten a WT joey from a WT parent. Most WT's are out of random gray pairs. There are a few lines that seem to produce them, but with little to no regularity.

I believe that you have to have a male and female white tip to produce whitetips. I may be wrong, but I think it is a recessive gene. Good Luck!

Nope, that's not the case. PocketAngels had a WT/WT/WT het trio and they produced a normal joey. As I said, most white tips come out of normal colored parents.
