We want to see our gliders glide? We're still in the process of bonding. Do you have any suggestions as to how to get them to glide? Or should we not do that yet.
I haven't been able to get Tink to glide yet. I put her up on curtains and she just climbs down or waits for me to get her. She jumps/leaps a lot to and from things. When I had Rooey, she LOVED to glider. Our living room had very tall cathedral ceilings (probably about 25 feet) with wooden rafters all the way at the top. My dad would stand on our grand piano and put her up there, and she would run around, look for me, point and glide to me. Or into the wall, or onto your face. But she had great fun doing it. I'd recommend maybe putting them on curtains and see if they wanna glide.
A couple of my gliders don't like to glide too much, but the others glide like crazy! Usually they'll jump back and forth from me to my boyfriend and we also have a ledge right by the ceiling that we put them on. If they don't want to glide they'll just wait for me to come get them.

Mine used to glide off of me to the floor when they weren't that into me. Now that we are more bonded when they want to get down they just crawl down my leg.

what i did was stand where i knew she would jump to me..then slowly work my way backwards. now ,if shes on me, all i have to do is lift my arm straight up..and she climbs to the top of my hand and she glides back and forth across the room from me and my girlfriend.
The only way I can get Keeva to glide is for someone to try to hold her and I walk in the room, then look out Mom! Your a landing pad! Swoosh!
i noticed that of my 2(when they were still here w/ us), Trynyti was the main leaper/glider. he luvd to show off his gliding skills! Saige was more bonded to me i guess, she preferd to b w/ mommy rather than out xploring. she did start to jump more when we built the big cage. but not much.

Try offering it treats by holding them in the air when your gliders are in a high place. They will want to get the treat from you. That might work.
