hey,

I have two sister gliders. they are both 1year old. I got them approx. 2 months ago. I'm a little worried because one of my girls is totally happy, always playing and roaming around..whereas the other girl is always still, she doesnt play much, doesnt like much attention...and im just confused. Is she depressed, or just chilled out? Hope you can give me some good advice. thanks.

Hi welcome and congratulations. Each glider is different like humans. I don't think there is anything to worry about. Maybe give her a little more attention and see if that helps. If she eats well and seems healthy otherwise then that is probably her personality. Or perhaps she misses her previous owners??

Welcome to the board!
I also have two gliders, but one is male and one is female. I agree with Hazyl, gliders have very different personalities. Clara is my wild girl -- she's very curious and active, but also extremely affectionate. Emmit is curious too, but not as quick to run away from me to go exploring as Clara is. Emmit is not as outwardly affectionate (he doesn't "groom" me or like to be in my shirt). He's content to just be with me in his bonding pouch.

I've had Emmit for almost two years now, but I've only had Clara for about six months. When I got Clara I really did not think that their personalities would be that different, but they surprise me every day. They are sooo different!!

Have the girls always been this way? Maybe if it's a sudden change in behavior, you should take them to the vet if they didn't already have a well-ness exam. But all gliders do have diff. personalities. good luck

hey

i also have 2 sisters and there complete opposites. Lilo loves to be noisey and check everything out and Stitch is always running the other direction...

just there personalities...

Stitch did come around though...checks out more things and lets me pet her more now...

so just have patients i'm sure she'll be fine
