how long should i wait before attempting to introduce a new mate to Sid after Nancy having passed 3 days ago? He's still bummed out, but eating (Thank Jah!)

Humm, I would think he will let you know when he is ready. You can start introductions and give supervised play time if he will participate. If not then I woud go ahead and start pouch swaping once you get a female. He may be so happy to have a friend he may be very accepting. Gliders are all so different, its hard to know how they will act.

I introduced Sassy after three weeks and she was so happy it wasn't even funny. With Amera it was six weeks and she wanted to eat poor Toado alive. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/shakehead.gif" alt="" /> I had to take him out and reintroduce a week later. Like Angie said, they are all different so you're just going to have to watch and decide for yourself. <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wave.gif" alt="" />

Chip and Murphy got together after two weeks. Chip was soooo ready. I always attributed it to the fact that Ozzy was sick for four months before he died -- and that Chip was ready for a 'normal' relationship. Who knows?!?
