Many people will tell you that a lone glider will do just fine providing you spend lots of time with him/her. I however feel that every species should have another of its own kind to snuggle with and that talks their language. I try to imagine what it would be like to be on an island with a bunch of monkeys. Yes they would keep me company and play with me but we couldn't talk and understand each other completely. Does that make sense?

when I got my first glider, Stitch, him and I bonded extremely well! As time progressed I felt that he might want companion for friendship and to snuggle with! When, Luna, his new little accomplice came we they loved each other at first sight. I noticed right away how much he enjoyed having a friend to play with They are both more active and both became more sociable with me as well as other people, I think they felt more secure and confident together!

My first wife had a glider that was very bonded to her. When she was with him he was the happiest little glider that you ever did see. Sadly she had to sleep sometime and when she did and that glider was all alone, he was the most wretchedly dejected thing I have ever seen. The difference in the poor little guy was amazing between when he was with her and when he was by himself. I have tried to keep my gliders paired up ever since.
