Male stretching his patagium #44958

I've noticed that my male glider holds onto the cage wire or hangs and completely stretches out his gliding membrame as if he was gliding, when "courting" my female. He does it before and after marking her with his bald spot, and kissing her. Is this some sort of way of him showing himself off to her?

Not sure if it's showing off, but my guys stretch right after they wake up. They all do it, and I have a neutered male and two females. I always thought it was just their wake-up stretch, but I could be wrong.

I am not sure if he is showing off either but my female does that a lot.

He may be showing off. A healthy gliding membrane is a good sign of overall health. He may be going "look how strong and healthy I am!" Or he could just be stretching <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/wink.gif" alt="" />

I know my male, from the second I introduced a female to him stands up and stretches his arms. Almost looks like he wants a hug!!! Could be a little of both!!
