#49080 - 06/17/05 11:25 PM laser pointers?

Has anyone ever played with their glider with a laser pointer before? I found one a while ago, and thought AHA! what a fun toy! cats love them, even i have fun chasing it... but my guy doesn't seem to care one way or another. he'll look at it for about a second, and then ignore it completely. has anyone used one before? what were the results?
(caution to anyone about to try it... lasers can cause eye problems, so keep it out of their little eyeballs!!! )

BMXGirl and Karin told me about laser pointers....I got one while in Dallas and during tent time had a BLAST with them with it....they would chase it all around the place!! But in the room, they dont pay no mind to it. Just be sure not to point it in their eyes as I am sure you already know.

We've got one for our cats, they love it and our friends German Shorthair pointer will chase one ALL over, it's hillarious, but our gliders were totally uninterested, lol. We were hoping for a bit more of a response.... no such luck, lol.

I remember hearing something about them not being able to see red? Or red light, or something like that. And I know some pointers are red instead of green. Perhaps that had something to do with it? Is it true they cannot see red?
