we had an almost amjor accident this AM.. while I was bathing, one of our girls got a ring around her neck and one arm... she was freaked out adn they were both chewing on the link trying to cut it open... Once we got her into the tent with me I was able to calm her slightly and remove it carefully.. she appears unharmed, but was very freaked out and scared.. we removed all the rings that arn't linked over things that will reduce the opening size.. they lost their favorite toy- they loved to slide the rings on a perch and push them off the end and watch us pick them up, but no more... at least not until they are big enough that I think this won't happen again... the girls are 10 weeks old!

geolinks are sold as toys for gliders on a few sites- they are links that are shaped like triangles, circles and squares... the circles just are the right size to go over a gliders body apparently and get caught when she freaked- as soon as she relaxed it slid right down off her shoulder and over her [censored] and tail...

I'm hoping not.. going to pay some attention to them playing with them in the tent for awhile before I leave any of the pieces in the cage again.. of course they will also get bigger too, so that will make things safer...
