Hi all! I have been going crazy! lol I have found so many great feathery toys--one thing though; are feathered boas (with colored ostrich feathers) o.k.? I love them and I'm sure my gliders will have fun with them. But if they are colored, is it o.k. if they play with them? I won't let them eat it So many fun things with feathers lol I hope they are alright.....Also would faux fur be o.k. for them to play on? I worry 'bout their little toesees. lol Thank you for your help!!

It's great to let them play with the feathers with you there and YOU controling the feathers. They do like to pluck them off and carry them around and make bedding out of them.

The colors you should make sure are safe for them. But to just let them chase them and play with YOU and them would be fine. I know they would have a ball.

I would not leave the feathers inside the cage without you.

Have fun and let us know how they like them.

I try to use cat toys on a wand, that have natural feathers on them. Fake fur is great, I line the insides of pouchs with it, no problems.

Thank you! I've found some really gorgeous fake fur that I want to use. I can't wait to play with my babies and their feathers!

Hmm, I know callejean sells them, but i dunno if they are for cage time or for supervised playtime. They look like fun though! I would be worried about my gliders eating them.
