I found this at the craft store today and thought it would be cool to put on the glider cages instead of filling with fake plants.

We attached it to one of those side food doors.

I give it a week before I have escaping gliders , but for $6 I couldn't refuse.

Looks neat, but a question knowing that some gliders like to chew on things - is the wicker coated with anything, what is it made of and is it safe for them?

That is super cute, but being the anal person I am , be careful. Changes are those glider's will eventually what to chew it to pieces, and those little pieces can easily get stuck in the gum/teeth area on a glider. Just be very observant .

I'm sure they will chew through it pretty quick knowing them, but I figure until then they can have a cool place to play. It's not coated with anything and it's made from some sort of wood sticks - most likely pine.

Cool idea! Could you make a fleece liner for it, so they can't chew on it?

Isn't pine on the toxic list? It is cool and cute, but I would check on the safety issues too. In case they do chew on it.

If the stick are pine it will kill the glider if they chew it,most wood is toxic.

I was thinking of that so I'm making a fleece liner for it so they can't chew on it and so that it's more comfy for them.
