Alrite this may be a silly post <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/tongue.gif" alt="" />, but can a gliders cage be too big? My mother keeps telling me that 6x2x2 is too big for a pair of gliders. I tell her that it is never enough <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yelclap.gif" alt="" />. Just wanted to know, Thanks

nope, you are right. The bigger the cage the more they can strech out, have fub and room to jump!

I dream of one day when the kids grow up and move out <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/yelclap.gif" alt="" /> LOL <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" />that I will be able to dedicate an entire bedroom for them to have the run of! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dance.gif" alt="" />
The reason I laugh about the kids moving is cause my son says he is gonna stay with mom til he is 40 marry a rich old woman and when she dies he will be rich and then he is gonna move back in and take care of mom! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/blush.gif" alt="" /> Maybe when he moves out I will sell the house and buy a motorhome and dare him to find me! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> HE HE that is the evil side of this mom! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dance.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/evil.gif" alt="" /> <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/dance.gif" alt="" />

I have a pair in a 5'x2'x2' cage and I want to upgrade to a bigger one so your 6' tall cage would be perfect <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/thumb.gif" alt="" />

I don't think you could get a cage too big for gliders but I always make sure to consider the portability and cleaning aspects of any cage that I would get.

#64503 - 10/23/05 08:20 AM Re: Too big? [Re: ]

ours is 2.5*2.5*5 ft tall on 4" legs and we wouldn't mind it being biggert but can't figure a way to do that and have it be cleanable!

#64504 - 10/23/05 08:52 AM Re: Too big? [Re: ]

My cage is 4 feet tall 6 feet wide and 2and a half feet in depth. I have a tree in his cage too that he loves!

What kind of a tree? I would think that they would tear it up? Maybe not though I've never tried it.

No cage is too big I feel.

#64508 - 10/27/05 01:54 PM Re: Too big? [Re: ]

if you can afford a bigger cage it is better. They are busy little things and like to have alot of room, if it were up to them they wouldnt be in a cage at all they would have run of the hous. LOL
