If I feed my suggies at night and there is some leftover the next day, is it still good for them to eat it before it is feeding time again? Does it get bad after a certain amount of time. I'm mixing my HPW with the fruit and veggies(picky eaters). If they don't eat it all at night, should I take the remaining out during the day? And do most feed HPW mixed with the fruit and veggies, or seperate?

I would remove any left overs in the morning so you don't attract fruit flies for one thing. I use divided dishes like the gerber graduates dish and put the fruit or veg in the small section and the HPW in the other section and my crew eat most of it every night. If you end up with alot left over, you might be feeding too much.

I also feed mine the HPW diet, and I was also wondering what to do if they don't eat it at night. I mix the HPW with the fruit and veggies also. I really can't answer your question since my question is the same. What do you do if your suggies just started this diet, and now they aren't eating their fruit and veggies only the HPW?

Sometimes they can get pretty picky and stubborn. I would just continue offering their meal as you have been. Switching things around causes them to be picky eaters.

I just switched mine a few days ago and both were not eating much, but my male eats all of his now. My female actually had to go to the vet because I noticed she hadn't eaten at all in two days. After getting fluids and medicine today I found her eating like crazy from lasts nights food. That's why I was asking if it was bad for them. And mine did exactly the same thing as yours. They would only lick the HPW even when I mixed all together. Now they both seem to love it.

What if Marley licks all her HPW at night but then eats her fruits and veggies during the day. I've seen her do this two days in a row. Will it be bad for her? She is only 8 weeks oop. Is she just too young and trying to figure it out? If I take it out during the day I'm afraid she won't get the nutrition she needs.

As a rule my guys go for the HPW first, then the veggies. They are not crazy about the fruits since they are on the HPW. So I feed them the fruit smoothie most nights and change to fresh fruits once or twice a week to keep them eating it. My guys are also the exception to the glider rule and are up alot during the day so I collect my food dishes usually around noon, but they wake and start eating very late at night usually past midnight. HTH
