hi
i was just wondering if anyone could help me.
About 2-3 weeks ago my gliders mated and i was wondering if she might be pregnant now b/c she is acting different. During the day all 3 of them sleep together and when they wake up she crabs very loudly at them and i saw her chasing one the other day. i hope someone can help me out cos im not sure what is going on.
I'm new to all this and hope someone can give me some advise.
thanks

Well, if you saw them mating you may have joeys on the way. However, without seeing them go into pouch, it is going to be a wait and see game. What you may want to do is put more than one pouch in your cage to give them an option as to where to sleep. Within the next couple weeks if she is you will be able to feel (lightly) around her pouch and see if you feel and pea size lumps. The sides of her pouch will also start to darken up a bit if she has joeys. But really it is going to be a waiting game. Sorry.

If you want to know what a person is like, watch how he treats others.

You'll never know what the outcome is if you don't step up and try.

Some gliders attitudes change when they become preggo, mine didn't but i have heard of it. Keep an eye on her, If their are other females then they could be trying to eat her babies. that is why it is never good to put 2 girls and an un-neutered male together, unless they all get along. Most times if their are 2 females together and one becomes preggo. The other female will eat the other ones babies. This could be the reason.

It would be super hard to feel the baby at this stage since it is just slightly larger than a grain of rice, but it is possible.

Some preggo gliders however just get mean to others for no particular reason.

Hope this helps. Make sure to give her extra protein and extra lovin. Good luck. You may have joeys on the way.:)
