I bought an electric pressure washer. It cleaned 4 cages and started smoking. I returned it.
I would love any suggestions on some pressure washers that others have found that do a good job and are realiable.

thanks
Jackie

Hi JackiA,
I have a Campbell Hausfeld 1500 PSI Electric Pressure Washer. I love it. Several other people I know are using the Kartcher (?) I am not sure if I am spelling that one right. But it's upright and yellow. You don't want to get to much PSI or it will tear up your cages. Hope this information helps you out. Hope you are doing well. Call me if you need more information and I'll let you know more about the one I got.

I have had my pressure washer for 2.5 years. I love it.

I had a Karcher. Great little power washer. However, it is German made so when needing parts... they were not available. I used it for four years.

I have since purchased a Delta. Same psi of 1600 and it is much heavier since the frame and cover is metal and not plastic. Miss the pre-soak attachment that the Karcher had. The Delta is USA made so purchasing parts should not be an issue when it comes time for a repair.

I will say... it seems the switches wear out on the power sprayers after three and half to four years of use. Not sure why.

I have the campbell housefield as well. It is working great! I use it for the pool area, for the stone on my house, and my driveway as well. It works great!

I had no trouble getting parts for my Karcher.
Here is a diagram of the parts Diagram of Parts for Karcher Here is the place to get the parts Parts for Pressure Washers
I have only had one part replaced. My patio is made out of Flagstone and I tore the hose on a peice. The hose cost 1/2 as much as the Karcher sprayer, but that was a year ago and now I am going on three years with it and have 27 cages I clean every other week. It is wonderful
