Is Elimina something people use regularly? Little worried about it truly being safe but I can't find anything to the contrary. Any if it is something people use, is it possible to add it to bigger batches of the relish/smoothie recipes to freeze?

In my opinion, I don't think it does all that much. I used it for 2 months religiously and all I can say it did was change the smell of their urine. Not a better smell not a worse smell, just a different smell.

I use it everyday for my suggies and chins and have never had a bad experience with either. I always put it on their food right before they eat, so I can't say anything about freezing it. It's worth a try. You'll know if it works or not cause the stench will return! <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" />

Our gliders got a bottle for Christmas (was it for them or for us?). We've used it since then (spraying it on directly each feeding) and have noticed a marked decrease in teh smell. Since it's an oxidizer, I would keep it off the food until right before they eat. That's just my no-science-or- vet-quallifications answer, though.

Elimina contains Anthium Dioxide, which is a bactericide used at most water treatment plants and drilling operations that collect any water, it destroys odor-causing bacteria which attach to piping and basins.....its harmless and most of us, whether drinking tap water or bottled water, have injested this, but I'm not so sure that the application would work as well after it's been frozen.
Let us know if it works.

Also, please do not use with pregnant or nursing females.
