I have bird safe ropes in my room that run from place to place. One to my computer desk to Dixie's cage. She loves to jump around on them and make them swing. The funnest thing she does is when she walks on them she will walk on the top and bottom. She will do a loop while walking.

those are a really good out of cage toy. You should grab your camera and snap a couple shots when she is doing her *tightrope* act!!

If you want to know what a person is like, watch how he treats others.

You'll never know what the outcome is if you don't step up and try.

I have bought a few meteres of natural rope. and my gliders love them (me too). somtimes they make a headrol around the ropes.
I think it's one of the best things i have for them.

I always wonder how strong they are, walking up the ropes.

i would think hanging under it is much easier.

My boys are timid of ropes unless I am right there with them. They will only mess with them if they have one foot holding onto me in some manner. It is to cute to watch because we all know how independent they try to pretend to be but when they have to hold your hand to play on the rope you know they want you around

Peggy, does that mean ropes are not good as an in-cage toy? What about fleece ropes? Is it just what the bird ropes are made of, or could they hurt themselves if fleece ropes are strung in their cage?
