If I go and buy an already dead adult mouse will my gliders eat it? Or even if I were to buy a live mouse and let them have their way with it will this be ok? I think it will be a great enrichment exercise for them and very stimulating! I dont mind the mess and Im not squimish so what do u think?

I let mine have a small mouse once. Very interesting and grotesque. It will be messy! I don't think it would hurt. I find it MUCH easier and less heartbreaking to feed pinkies. And of course with it being alive, there is a possibility of the mice biting back. I have a pic of the remains, PM me if you would like to see first.

I feed small adult mice once a month - I've never had a problem, and the suggs LOVE it. Plus, they eat the entire mouse, bones and all. I don't view this as any different than feeding a mouse to a snake. It is a bit messy, and I do it in a small cage for clean up purposes, but they kill the mouse by the throat in less than 5 seconds and then fight over the rest. I find that my gliders prefer live over frozen (they sometimes wouldn't eat frozen pinkies but a live adult mouse entices them every time).
