Hello. I wanted to ask everyone if the items sold by Pocket Pets are actually safe and good for gliders?

I wouldn't support them. Period. Any money given to them allows them to further mislead people, rip them off, and kill innocent gliders.

However, I know several things are stuff you can buy for a much cheaper price somewhere else; they just slap their sticker on it. (Such as the wodent wheels).

Cameron, hi! Glad to see that you came here -- I'll be responding to your message on yahoo shortly.

The products on the (PPP) Perfect Pocket Pets site are extremely overpriced, and not very well made. You would be much better off buying else where.

In a word, NO. From what we know about their diet, cage, heat rocks, etc...they are (at best) not ideal for gliders, and (at worst) sometimes downright dangerous to gliders.

We're glad you found this website; please let us know if you have questions about what diets, cages, heat sources, etc. are best for gliders. There are a lot of people here who have raised healthy gliders for a looooooooooong time, and unfortunately, much of what we see (PPP) Perfect Pocket Pets recommend is really not best for sugar gliders.

I guess it really depends on which items you are talking about.
In fairness I have to say the wheel is safe but that is only because(as Marissa stated) it is really just a repackaged Wodent wheel with a huge mark-up.
You can find many of the same type products MUCH better made and for a MUCH better price.
Plus, as everyone else has already said I would never support their business by buying anything from them...ever!!

i got my gliders from friends of mine who got them from Pocket Pets. i guess you could say mine are "rescue Gliders" since they "were to busy to deal with them". they didnt do any resaerch before they got them. they saw them at the local mall and bought them. in order to get them they had to go to a hotel room(sketchy if you ask me).
i love my gliders and i wouldnt trade them for anyhting but i would seriously advise you not to get them from there.

ive been doing my research about them for months now. they tell you misleading information and make you pay wayyyy to much for gliders. ive asked alot of questions on here because of all the lies they have told. look at some of my post and ull see how confused they make you
