Has anyone investigated Veggie Puffs? They are finger foods for babies and dissolve really fast. My gliders Love them. They have sweet potato in them and don't spoil so I leave them a few days a week as a daytime treat. I like to have something in the cage for them in case they wake up and are hungry for their noon snack.

I've never tried them with my kids, but they sound interesting.

I've tried the veggie puffs, the fruit flavored puffs and, if you haven't gotten your gliders the gerber dehydrated apples yet they're missing out!! My gliders LOVE them and they're great for taking with you if you're taking your gliders out for the day or for a few hours. I like giving mine a snack while we're out and it's perfect.

My boys love the corn puffs - and they look quite adorable as they hold the big star shaped puff as they gobble it down.

What about Cherrios? I have given mine a couple and seem to love them but was wondering if they are ok?

i know quite a few that give cherrios...what is fun to do with them is string them on curling ribbon and hand in their cage. Makes a game and enrichment toy for them. Don't use regular ribbon though, toes can get caught.

Ive tried all three of the puffs flavors I believe and my gliders love cheerios. Its funny you mentioned the string thing last night because I was going to fix them all up with one but was too lazy so I just fed them during playtime. lol!

[:"blue"] Mine like the fruit and veggie puffs as well as cheerios but I use them as treats rather than an everyday food.

Fruit loops are also a great very occassional treat. I mainly save this for a special holiday treat with a blueberry in between. That's when you have to get creative and remember back to the "olden" days of stringing popcorn <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/roflmao.gif" alt="" /> [/]

I've only tried the veggie puffs and put them in there as i said maybe 2 days a week, also give them the insectivor on some days, just like things that i know won't spoil during the daytime while they are sleeping but may get up for their noon "midnight" snack.
