Still looking... In the meantime, you can read up on some of the stickies in this forum (e.g., the toxic and safe plants). You'll of course only want the safe plants around.

Off the top of my head, you want to be sure you keep all toilet seats and lids down. You can make little "ladders" to put in the toilets just in case so they can climb out of the water. Close up any holes in the walls. Keep other animals in other rooms. Close up chimneys... Just think about what you would do to baby-proof your home, and you'll take care of a lot of your gliders' concerns as well.

Hopefully others will come along with some tried-and-true ideas.

Any ideas on the kitchen area? I dont have a closed kitchen and there is also a bar type area that they can access it through.

I would think a kitchen would be a bit difficult. I do remember reading of a glider that jumped into a boiling pot of water (for noodles or something). So, when cooking, no matter how bonded your gliders are to you, don't let them hang around on your shoulder or on you while you're preparing food.

Of course, be careful of sink drains and garbage disposals.

Hopefully someone will come along with some practical suggstions.

Oh Oh Oh ! Very Important: Use baby proof caps for electrical plugs. Gliders are supper curious. You don't want a fried Glider ;x

I think the kitchen would be one of the most difficult area of the house to proof. I know with my kitchen there are so many nooks and crannies (between the wall and cabinets, behind the fridge, nest to the dishwasher, etc.) that my gliders could get into and I would be unable to get them out. Also, so many appliances, etc.

If these were my gliders I would find a different area for them where there is no access to the kitchen at all.

In my apartment it's not really possible to shut off the kitchen, also. I use the light from the kitchen as the light for playtime - they tend to avoid it because the prefer the dark. I've tried to gliderproof it, but I still don't trust them in there...

I was kinda thinking along those lines as well. Behind the fridge or under the stove ... yikes! I'll just have to be very careful and watch them closely. Thanks a bunch!

They are very curious and it's a good possiblity that they would chew on cords. Especially since they're not supposed to! I would either keep a close eye on them at all times, or hide the cords so they couldn't get to them.

They definitely can sneak under doors! I have glider-proofed a room rather than the house or I'd never find them.
