I adopted my Sonia (female) about two month ago. I am not sure how old she is, but I assume that she is around 1 year old. When I got her, she was very aggressive and completely frightened of me! Right now she is no longer afraid of me and I can play with her when she is in her cage. She likes to wrestle my fingers and to playfully bite them. However, when outside her cage, she has no interest what so ever of interacting with me... she runs away and doesn't come back until i catch her.
I carry her during the day in her bonding pouch. I also allow for some play time in a glider proof bathroom. Recently I even bought a pop-up tent, however it just seems that she is not interested in me frown. Here are my questions:
How do bonded gliders behave? Do they play with you? Please describe how do they play!? DO they follow u like a dog every time you let them out?

Every glider is different. Some like to stay on their owners and some still may want to explore.

sounds like you have made progress, but she probably needs more bonding time. I would suggest just bringing her into the tent nightly and bring in lots of toys and treats. Make it fun for her and just let her venture out when she's ready to explore. Eventually she will start jumping on you like you are her tree. I would still do the bonding pouch in the day time and then tent time when it's time for her to wake up. Dim the lights and just sort of ignore her until she comes to you on HER terms.

Hope that helps.

First each glider behaves differently. I have many that are very bonded and trust me, some merely tolerate my love and gladly take treats but still allow me to hold and check them over, while some will NEVER get off me even to play.

Some gliders climb all over their human and others would rather romp and explore, some love chin rubs and kisses and others would prefer that your only interaction with them is to give a treat.

sounds like the trust building is coming along nicely with your girl and only time will tell what her personality will be.

NO none of my gliders follow me like a dog but I do have a couple that refuse to get off me because they feel safe as long as they are on me.

Well, when bonded with you it can be a very rewarding relationship. What does a dog or cat do for someone? It's an emotional thing I think. Having a pet that trusts and loves you is good for the soul. They are fun to watch play and to play with. Some like to snuggle and love on you. They are all so different, so the list goes on and on.

Gliders love all sorts of toys. You can check out the housing and accessories forum for ideas. Some people make their own toys, and others buy from vendors who sell toys. I have done both. Mine have a ball pit, which is a basket with the golf ball sized whiffle balls in it. They have several toys made from beads and rexlace. They have a foraging toy. A fleece cage set including hammocks and a vine to climb on. A stealth wheel. Barrel of monkeys (they love to take the monkeys out of the barrel and move them around the cage. They also like to move around things like milk jug rings and plastic bracelets.

Here are some examples of toys from a vendor (I have the drop pendant foraging toy):

Hope that gives you some ideas.

Nope not just a cuteness factor, my crew are like kiddos to me, all different ages, colors and personalities but every one LOVED like family members.
I have gliders with me all the time, everywhere I go, most of mine are bonded and trusted to be looses in my bra or in an open bonding pouch and are free to come out for lovins or treats at will. ONLY because I know them well enough to trust them. I pet them and talk to them constantly throughout the course of the day.
In the evening we have playtime in a tent, they get to hang out on mom, eat treats and play with toys as they choose. I pet them, kiss on them, and let them have their fun.

All monkeys get a check out at night before bed to make sure all are accounted for and no one is acting "off"

First thing in the morning we have coffee and mealie time, they know when they smell mom's coffee to get to the front of the cage for morning mealies.

ANY glider-safe toys are good, mine have many of my own creations as well as gyms from suggiegym, and an assortment of fisher price baby toys. Feathers are a big hit, jingle balls, monkeys in a barrell. Mine like toys they can jump on that swing, spin or bounce the best.
