I can't believe I missed this post. What amazing videos. And as much as you don't like the video of him fighting the E-Jacket, I loved that video a lot. Why? Because it was so heartwarming how he pretty much stopped with the attitude as soon as he got to snuggling you. He sure knows you love him and you're his protector.
Thanks for posting this Connie. I learned a lot!

Well I was finally able to watch the first video of Little Man's neuter. Yes, I haven't been able to view it until today, tried many times. All I can say is wow! And Puna did so well too. I can't even believe the difference between the laser pom off and the knife. Laser and I couldn't hardly tell anything had been done! Thank you Connie for more reasons than I can mention without writing a book and besides you know what I'm thanking you for. Right? Love YOU lady!!!
P.S. Megs is right the wake up video shows how a very upset and scared glider will calm down when it's in the hands of the person it knows loves and protects them. Puna sure does LOVE his mama!

That's one reason why I love my vet so much. She has no problem with me being there during an surgical procedure. She has seen how less stressed the gliders are when they have someone they know with them.

Wow, I'm so glad I found this thread. I know it's a bit older, but I needed some good reading on this procedure. My Augustus is in for his neuter this morning, and needless to say, I was quite nervous. I was THRILLED to get the option of a laser and feel much better after seeing all of this. Thanks for sharing, everyone!! Puts my and Gem's minds at ease!

I'm so glad it helped put your mind at ease! That's why I posted the videos. To take away the fear of the unknown!
