I didn't realize Gliders did this until I read through a particular thread that I can't seem to find now. I gave my two babies some milk rings as it suggested and what do ya know they carry 'em around!
Icarus carries them around his waist like a hoola-hoop and Shyvanna carries her things in her tail. It's so fascinating watching them collect these. I have some pictures of them caught in the act and thought I'd share; though Icarus looks like he's guilty of something. rofl
Do you guys have any pictures of your little furries doing something like this? I'd love to see. grin

If you (or anyone) is using the milk rings, make sure you cut them. Left whole there is the risk of a glider getting "stuck" in one. While it doesn't seem likely, it can hapen. Better to be safe and just cut it. The gliders still have just as much fun with them.

Oh I know, it seems every time I take a picture of my boy, he has this guilty look to him, it's so funny! What other plastic toys do you have for them? I still have to pick up some barrel of monkeys for them.

I do cut the rings, so no worries there. :D

Those are great pictures! I was so excited when Riddick carried a ring in his tail, I've only seen him do it once 'tho. frown I did get some pictures, I was so happy! It was really thrilling to see him exhibit such a natural behavior

I have a few tail carriers. I just love to watch them play! I have some bracelets hooked together hanging in some of my cages. Some of my gliders like to pull them into thier pouches to sleep with them. Yesterday my daughter pulled one of them out of Rosie and Thumper's pouch. Rosie immediately woke up and poked her head out of the pouch. She looked around, climbed out of the pouch, went straight to the hanging bracelets, hooked her tail in them, and carried them right back into the pouch. She looked annoyed that my daughter had taken her toy away :-)

I've got several here but two, in particular that are so much fun to watch are my rescues, Lily & Rascal. Lily puts on a show, she doesn't hide but instead races around the cage and loves that she has an audience.

Both my boys tail carry! Its very hard to catch them though - I usually find @ least 6 or more bracelets & several monkeys in their pouch the next day.

I did manage to get 1 pic but its not very good.

The bracelets seem to be their favorite! I even hand them from the "hooks" that are used for the hammocks. It's fun to watch them figure out how to get them off LOL!

During they day I will see the pouch moving all over & when I peek inside they are playing with the bracelets or wrestling with the monkeys LOL!

I saw my pair fighting over one of the rings early this morning. It was a:
'it's mine!'
'No it's mine!' Type of deal, it was so funny watching them, it gave me a good laugh.

I have nesting boxes as the bed and I got a bracelet in the cage that gizmo and prince both try to get into the bed and it doesn't fit in the hole to the box. I haven't got any pictures of prince or cricket as tail carriers but they are I have seen it but did have the camera with me.
