Hello all I was wondering if anyone recently had got any gliders for Pocket Pets and had respiratory trouble with them? I ask because this is what has happened to me and unfortunately I lost the Pocket pet glider and the other one I had got from a breeder because of this respiratory problem. so I was just wondering?

I'm so sorry for your loss ... Sadly PP is VERY infamous for gliders respiratory problems among MANY others ... They are a HUGE breeding mill that makes it a practice to misinform the general public to draw them into buying gliders. I would suggest avoiding them.

I'm so sorry for your loss Did you just lose them recently, or is this the first glider that you've referred to in other posts? If this is recent, I'd suggest to get your third glider to a vet ASAP to get checked out as perhaps it was something communicable. Respiratory issues can happen in any gliders, but unfortunately with how PP keeps their gliders, they may be more susceptible to them.

I took the one who died most recently to the vet for a necropsy, I will be going to get the results tomorrow. Its just really hard this was my 1st experience with gliders and I wish I would have met my breeder 1st and avoided all this heart ach. No I will NEVER deal with PP again! I'm heart broken. Very difficult experience.

Sorry to hear of your lost. Our 3 gliders are non pocket pet animals, If it was not for the contract our work has with them I would refuse to endorse them in any way. ( not been doing it and turning people to the net to do their research before they buy. )
