Debated on putting this under "Health and Hygiene" or "anatomy"

How cool does a sugar glider's body get when they're sleeping? I know it drops pretty significantly, but I wanted to know if there was anybody who had monitored this...?

I'm really not even sure how a person could monitor their temp while sleeping without disturbing them. Zoey stays warm when she's asleep on me, but she gets almost cold in the pouch when i'm gone. The house is comfortable(70-85) during the day, so I'm really interested to know if it's been recorded.

I don't think anyone has actually monitored it in captivity. In the wild, they can withstand pretty cool temps and even go into torpor.

In captivity, I wouldn't expect they go too low simply because our inside temps of the house doesn't usually decrease much if at all during the night. In addition to that, the gliders are typically in a double lined pouch all snuggled up together.

If it is something you're concerned about, just cut some fleece squares for blankets and give them access to them. Although they might grab them to hoard even if they aren't cold... my girls are currently sharing a room with a snake, so the temp is always quite warm, but when I put a blanket outside their pouch today Zephyr pulled it in
