The Glider-arium is coming together.
The star of the show...just in, the Critter Nation.
Solid...easy to assemble, big....and these huge doors are a must have! Full plastic floor trays on every level, comfortable for little feet. Horizontal bar pattern, for easier climbing.
After much agonizing I am now confident I made the right choice. The whole front of this thing opens right up--it's awesome.
The Fur-babies sure seem to love it.
Part of this project is to make a good gliding path possible--so I put this shelf up as high as I could.
Gizmo was the first to climb to the top of the vine today. This is the highest spot in the room.
(Forgive my Ghetto Vines--just got lazy and did knots hehe.)
Trying to set things up so I have the longest possible throw for them to come flying to me. Eventually the shelves and vines will go all the way around the room. And then we will weave in some fake foliage to make it look jungle-like.
Hoping darker colors give me some extra latitude in what kinds of light I can use.
This area is about eye level next to the cage. Going to build different dioramas here and see if I can catch some funny pictures.
Trying to make the colors all dark, to make it more comfortable on their eyes. Obviously we have a difference of opinion as to how bright the room should be during playtime.
A work in progress.
Thanks for looking everyone!
