Not that I know of, each breeder bases their charges on cost of container, mileage, actual shipping cost.

Have you considered looking closer to where you are located? I live in NY and have a breeder who is shipping my glider to me from SC for $150. There's reasonable breeders all over and I'm sure shipping will cost more if done internationally. Have you tried the pet glider? If you buy one of their retired gliders shipping is free. Some people have gone through them and I've heard excellent things.

From Nigeria?!? Did you send them money? This just screams scam to me, big time! I hope you didn't send them money, if you did contact your bank right away. There a lots of breeders here in the US, gliders aren't normally imported anymore.

I have to agree with Feather/Kimberly about gliders coming from Nigeria screaming scam.
How in the world did you even find a breeder in Nigeria or did they find you?
The bigger question for me is why would you even consider such a purchase?

There are plenty of rescues out there, probably even some in your area if you check your local ads. You just need to be patient and watch.
Anytime you have questions about something you find, feel free to ask here.
We certainly will not give you bad information
if we came down a little hard on you, however, wanted to make sure you got the message of a scam before sending money

If you are dealing with a reputable breeder, you will need to pay for the shipping when you purchase the gliders. The breeder will need to pay for the shipping before the airline will accept the gliders for transport. The breeder should be able to give you a flight number and instructions on where to pick up the gliders at the airport before they are sent on the way to you. Keep in mind that not all airlines ship gliders and those that do may not have flights to the airport that is closest to you so there may be a drive involved to get to the airport where they will arrive. Before you purchase gliders that needs to be shipped to you, you might look for breeders or someone rehoming their gliders closer to home that would allow you to pick them up.

who will deliver them to your door. This line is the big SCAM RED FLAG.Airlines will not deliver the gliders to you any more than they would give you a car to get from the airport to your destination.

I would say yes, especially if there nails haven't been trimmed in a while. Also, even if they don't rip it they could get caught on it and hurt themselves. Why do you ask?

It would probably be better safe than sorry - to close the windows and solid door when your gliders are out of the cage.
The screen will probably hold but if it is old screen it may be brittle and could be snagged by glider nails or teeth ripping a hole that might easily expand to glider escape size.
Many folks do outfit an interior doorway with a screen door to keep the gliders in a room but still be able to see them while they play. The space under the door needs to be blocked to prevent gliders from slipping underneath. In this case, if they get out of the room they are still inside the house. A screen door leading out side would not be safe if the gliders should get through.
