I've been doing some research on spray cleaners for cleaning my glider cage. I've been using vinegar, dawn soap and warm water. It works but I've been wanting something that I can spray and wipe. So I found Nature's Promise All Purpose Cleaner. Free from artificial fragrances, dyes, harsh chemicals and fumes, petroleum and formaldehyde. It is plant based. Just wondering if anyone has used it or if there have been reports of harm to gliders from using it? Appreciate the advice. Roo Sir Nigel Thornberry

I am not familiar with that cleanser, hopefully someone who is will get on this and answer for you.
I use vinegar/water solution, I mix in a spray bottle, (you can find in most stores).
I use the spray daily to clean the drop pan out. First, I use a paper towel to wipe all the mess into a clump and then onto a small dustpan. Then I spray the v/w solution onto the drop pan and then wipe with a clean paper towel.
For cage cleaning, I use a two-sided sponge (dollar stores usually carry, but can be found anywhere) and I spray the solution on the side I need to use, usually it's the spongy side, and then I turn and use the scrubby side for hard, stuck-on yuck. Pretty much a spray and wipe. I know it's safe and kills bacteria.
I cannot take my cage outdoors for good scrub down and rinses (wish I could), so I use a hand-held steam cleaner in addition to the v/w wipe down every few months.
Hope this helps.

I have used up to (in percentage V/W) 50/50, but have reduced the vinegar a bit and now use closer to 40V/60W, or slightly weaker. I wouldn't recommend going higher than 50/50 or lower than 30/70 (V/W). I prefer using a spray bottle, but I use it daily to clean drop tray and some touch up cleaning (cage/ toys) throughout the week as needed. The spray bottle also makes cleaning the cage much easier for me, as I just spray directly onto the sponge. I change my solution weekly, before I clean the cage I make a fresh bottle, then use the rest for the drop pan throughout the week. Occasionally, I miss a week wiping down the cage, so I will do more spot cleaning than usual and make a fresh batch the following weekend for the wipe down. Hope this helps.
