My rescue babies are not eating much of the BML. It has been less than a week since getting them but they do not seem to like BML much. It is way better than the cat food they were being fed at the previous home but I want to make sure they are getting what they need.

They seem to be picking around the BML and eating the fruits and veggies instead. I started mixing them all together to get more of the BML in them and it helps. How long should I give it before deciding to switch to another staple?

Side note...we see the vet tomorrow morning for our check ups and neuter. YAY!

You could contact Peggy at critterlove@critterlove.com, she would be more than happy to send you out a sample of her product. My gliders love it!

Here is the BML Link

Since your gliders have been on it for less than a week, I would give them a little more time before changing again. Remember they are coming off a completely different feeding plan of cat food and who knows what else. They aren't used to eating what is good for them.

After the recipe there are some tips you could try for how you feed the BML. It might help or at least give you a better idea of whether they simply aren't going to eat it.

You could still contact Peggy as Feather suggested to have you sample of Critterlove available when you want to try it.

That is the exact BML I am following. I started mixing the fruits, veggies and BML together in their dishes to make sure they get more of it but they always leave more BML than anything else and go after the fruits and veggies...well except the carrots. They don't seem to like them very much so we have been doing some carrot baby food for licky treats just to make sure they get a little more carrots in them. Beechnut Organic Just Carrots is what we are using for licky treats and they seem to enjoy it.

Last night more of the BML was gone!! Yay! I put a few mealworms in the bottom, fruits and veggies on top of that then the BML. It worked! They gobbled up the other stuff to get to the mealworms. I'm not above bribing to get he good stuff in them. I have three sons so I've been through this baby thing a few times. It really isn't much different than human babies, is it!? LOL!

:thumb2: I posted 24 hours ago, and must have deleted instead of submitted, but I see they are doing fine!

They are still adapting to their new surroundings too. I tried using BML as a gravy and found mine preferences them separate.

Thank you for updates and please keep us posted.
