I wan't to ask sth else but I'm not sure weather to start a new post ... I don't want to turn this one into a mixed everything plus the kitchen sink post buuuuut,

What do you think about bathing?
I read a few posts and saw a few vids but seems to me like there isn't a firm answer about it...
Is it good to get them wet once in a while or let them clean themselves... he looks quite clean doesn't smell bad at all...
His cage did but i clean it now ever 2/3 days and the problem is solved ... for now... I was planning to do it yesterday when I got the cage cleaned but i could find a step by step ...
water should be that hot
shampoo should be natural
don't get ears wet
etc etc
And after our last experience with do before read i decided not to risk it and first ask the question here...
Any suggestions?

I thought of turning on a hair dryer near them would probably give them a heart attack. Mine freak out as the sound of a plastic bags moving. They'd be scared to death! :-o

Gliders don't need to be given a bath, unless the following happen or apply:

Glider has been in an e-jacket or e-collar and has been unable to clean him or herself.

Glider has gotten into something that would make him or her ill if he or she were to clean it off, such as: getting into butter/oil, falling into the toilet (it is either the chemicals or the bacteria depending on if you keep chemicals in the bowl), sticky fly or mouse traps (first use oil to get off the glue).

If you need to give a glider a bath, do it in a warm room, use warm water and Original Dawn dish soap.

Do not run water over their face, use a wash clothe to wash their faces.

Make sure you get all the soap rinsed off and most importantly - Keep them warm until thoroughly dry.
That means towel them off, wrap em in fleece and stuff them in a bonding pouch down your shirt until dry.

I agree with Kim and Karen.

Mine groom themselves even after I put them in a fresh sleeping pouch.

Their skin can get dried out when bathed in water.

I wasn't very sure i can do it Mars is a bitter...
He likes to taste me all the time
I guess that's "Oooh your so sweet" kinda thing for him
And i imagine what would he do to me if i decided to get him soaking wet... Pew good NO bath NO bites NO stress
