I recently posted about one of my gliders being sick and she ultimately passed away, the vet believes it was heart failure as she had an irregular heart beat. I am still very upset and was not thinking of my other glider but she has visibly changed after auroras death. She never use to bite and now I have to be careful or she will bite me hard. She makes happy noises when I have her during the day but is overgrooming to the point she no longer has any fur above her eyes... I am worried she is depressed and thinking of getting another glider friend for her. Is there any rescues or places that will adopt out older gliders? I got aurora and kit at the same time and kit is now 10. What is the best way to deal with grief in gliders? Kit did not act like this until after the death of aurora despite the fact they had been separated for 6 months due to her illness/injury.
