I wanted to start a little "get to know you better" post. So, I came up with "Some of my favorite things!". To be fair, please list only 3-6 of your top favorite things. This will be actual favorite things, favorite food, or what you enjoy doing the most.

How I came up with 3-6 being fair you ask? Well, I figured since having the three areas to list favs of, you should be able to come up with at least 3 for your list, but don't stop there, if you have close seconds, list those as well, so again with 3 categories, max should be 6.

It works like this:

Favorite thing (thing, not person or people or pet)

1. Wifi-cause without it, life as I know it now would suck.
2. Close second would be bonfires/campfires.

My favorite food

1. Stuffed Shells or food type: Italian.
2. Close second, roast beef (well done) w/carrots, onions & potato (red-skin potato)

My favorite thing to do

1. Enjoying time with those I love, this covers a multitude of activities, so maybe kind of cheating, lol.
2. Close second, sleeping.

Hummm..... All I can mostly think of is winter stuff right now...

Favorite thing....
1. Right now it's a super soft blanket I can snuggle up in the recliner. I got it for Christmas last year...

2. My Woodstove when we are home... ,open the doors when it gets too warm...

Food...
1.Pizza and homemade wine.

2.Beef and homemade noodles!

3. Anything on the grill!

4. Chilli simmering on our woodstove...

Fav. Thing to do....
1. Quilt and sew

2. Gardening

3.Go fishing with hubby!

4. Walk in the snow when it's just below freezing and no wind...

Favorite Things:
Pretty shiny rocks! I have a collection of polished semi-precious stone spheres and eggs, and I can't restrain myself from picking up more pretty rocks everywhere I go. I often pick crystals out of the gravel here in Quartzsite.

Glorious natural vistas! Plant me somewhere scenic where I can just sit back and revel in the amazing beauty of this planet, and I'm happy.


Favorite Foods:
Mongolian BBQ! The variety of simple fresh veggies and meats, the ability to get creative and saucy with flavors, served hot and fresh and sizzling right off the grill... mmmm, tasty.

Rice Krispie Treats! The perfect combination of crunchy/chewy texture, plus light as air sweetness filling your mouth with every bite. I could easily eat a whole pan.


Favorite Things to Do:
OK, I'll be honest. Mindlessly surfing the internet for hours on end is definitely on top of the list. (I like to call it "research".)

Spontaneous dancing with TwoDog! Every once in a while, the spirit or the music moves us, and we break into some silly wild dance moves. Even better when we break into a nice close slow dance...

Lol! Yes! I make my own! When I'm home for a bit that is...It takes about 10 weeks to cook. I have turned my mom in to a wine maker too. The fermentation process doesn't like to be disturbed, so while on the road, I make it at mom's house so she can tend to it for me.

1. My sister's pumpkin pie every Thanksgiving. She makes me one to take home.

1. Spending time with my only grandson who is seven and so inquisitive.
