I am in Perth Ontario near Ottawa. We just moved here in October from up north, brrrrrrrrrrr, lol. It is gorgeous here!! I can't wait for summer <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" /> The parks here are amazing! Looks like we may be going out west in the not to distant future though <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/frown.gif" alt="" /> My hubby may be starting a zoo and our backer wants us where the warm season is longer.

From Toronto, just joined yesterday. No gliders yet, but have 2 girls lined up for pick-up in August (and I am seeing them in a couple of weekends!) and picking up a father and son in Vancouver while there for vacation the last bit of July.

Proud "Daddy" to 4 Shih Tzus, 3 ferrets, 2 degus, 6 hedgehogs (oops, make that 11!!!! We had 5 hoglets born yesterday) and 60 chinchillas.

I go back and forth between countries! I live in Ottawa, ON Canada half the year and Massachusetts, USA the other half <img src="/ubbthreads/images/graemlins/smile.gif" alt="" />

I'm not sure if I should be posting this here but here goes...
I'm in Toronto and I've come across a few Gliders that I'm trying to find a proper home for (whether that be at the Humane Society or individuals).
All the info is in my post under HELP! I'M NEW... and the post title is Help/Advice in Toronto.
I thought posting here might be good b/c you guys are all familiar with the resources/people in the area.

Hi Everyone!
I am a native New Yorker,recently returned here with my three suggies after living in New Orleans for 10 years...until Katrina. I am thinking about starting over somewhere completely new, and I have always been fascinated with Canada.
I would love to know more about the sugar glider community there, and anything else you could share with me about life North of the Border.
I am hoping to visit up there this fall, and so any tips on great cities would be welcome.
Also any info on what it is like to be owned by a glider in Canada, since of course Pippin, Pepper and Sweet Pea would be coming with me!
Je parle Francais, so Quebec would be great, but I am also a total anglophile so so would Toronto!
When I am not spending time with the suggies, I design jewelry for a living.( stay tuned for my upcoming first collection of sugar glider jewelry!)

I think sg supply around Toronto and big cities is not a big deal to find. The problem is QUÉBEC. At least, for me...
