Baybe had a very VERY special place in my heart. Just like her mom does. I just got off the phone with B. Needless to say, this is the hardest thing she has had to deal with.

Baybe was like no other glider. Many Many Many of us can tell you that. She is at the rainbow bridge now.

Bourbon, you know I am with you in spirit. I wish there was more for you. Just think, she has a good person taking care of her now, Tom will make sure she is happy.

I'm sorry for the loss of baybe

I can't begin to tell you how very sorry I am to hear this. Baybe was a very special glider and she will be missed greatly.

Lori, my friend, feel all our arms around you as we grieve the loss of this precious little one.

Baybe has touched so many of us both literally and through your stories of her.

I feel honored to have been one to have held her and nuzzled her on more than one occasion. She was without a doubt an extraordinary glider filled with so much love and trust for us strange humans.

We will miss you Baybe.

Ohhhh, how sad. I still remember the firt time I met Baybe and Bourbon and it is as if it were yesterday. It was a few days or so after the 1999 SGGA that Bourbon drove here to the Kansas City area. Baybe was a mama too with a little baby that was between four or five weeks oop.

Baybe loved Bourbon and Bourbon loved Baybe. Now Baybe has gone off to be with Smokey.

May fond memories of Baybe bring smiles to your face in time. We in the Glider Community who knew Baybe will miss Baybe too.

This is truly a very sad day in the glider community. Baybe will be missed so much by us all of us who had the honor of knowing her and holding her, loving her and owning her babies. She is truly one of a kind.

Lori, I know how much your heart is breaking, I would give anything to be able to help you get through this pain. Remember when we talked this morning about Baybe being free now, and how she is with Smokey? Think "ISLAND" my friend, and know that her spirit is soaring.

Think of her babies still here with us and how the legacy of Baybe and Smokey will live on.....forever....in all of our hearts, especially yours. You are a very special mom to two very special gliders. God is good.

Oh Bourbon, such a sad sad day my friend....Baybe was such a special sweet soul. I will also never forget the first time I held her at the KC SGGA...she watched your every move as you were unpacking in your room. And Smokey could have cared less, lol...he just wanted to check out those nifty curtains over the window . Gosh, seeing Baybe was always a highlight whenever we got together...she will be missed greatly .
My heart breaks for you B....if and when you want to talk, give me a call. I know your phone will be ringing off the record books for a while.

Lori, I know how much your heart is hearing now I will never forget the first time I met her and how much of a sweet heart she was. The only comfort here is knowing she has crossed the bridge and has been reunited with Smokey If you click on her picture in the header it will bring you to a gallery set up for Baybe. This was sadly the first post I read this morning and I am still sitting here shocked and in tears.

I had the pleasure of meeting, snuggling, and being held by Baybe. I got to hear many times over the phone, how Baybe wanted to hold your grand daughter. Baybe taught so much to so many of us and is the poster glider for the love and bond that a glider and human can have. I've never seen a glider love her human as much as Baybe loves you. Baybe held so many hearts, every one she came in contact with. There are few gliders as special as Baybe and it is so heartbreaking to know she is gone from us physically. Her love will always remain with us and I will treasure the memories I have of that sweet sweet girl.

I know your phone is probably going crazy so I'll hold off calling but...Please call me whenever you need. Love ya Bourbon!

Oh no! My condolances, Bourbon. I feel honored to have met both you and Baybe.

I'll always remember the day I met you, and when you held out your hands to me and placed a little ball of fluff in my hands, and that's how I met Baybe. The prettiest and most gentle glider I've ever seen. She sat perfectly content on my arm, and we asked if she was usually that calm and content and you said "that's Baybe!"

I'm so glad and honored that I got to meet and hold Baybe, a celebrity in the glider world. May she rest in peace, and may we all cherish the time we were so lucky to have spent with her.

I was shocked to see the banner and hear about Baybe. I can't say what hasn't been said and what you already know, Bourbon, but I'm just so sorry. We all learned at the feet of Baybe and will deeply miss her. Our hearts are with you now.

I just now saw this. I got your IM first before I saw this Nik..and I called not knowing. I hope that didnt upset her. Anyhow I cannot believe it, Im in shock. Im so sorry B. When we went to Disney werent the glider silhouttes made from Baybe??

Oh Bourbon-I know how it was for me to lose that one, most-special glider. And I know how hard you fought the kidney failure with all of the knowledge and love and respect you have for gliders. Baybe is now beyond the pain and the struggle. Words just aren't enough to ease this type of pain in your heart. Lean on all of those who love you: two- and four-legged. And call-any time-night or day.

I have spent most of the morning looking for my pic's of baby. I can't seem to find them. I had a great one of her eating pie I once posted here. I know B lost her pic's when her puter crashed this last month. If anyone has the pic I am speaking of please include it for B.

I am so hurt but this loss. I just had Baybe in my bra less than 2 weeks ago. I was holding out for the next SGGA. I gave her a kiss but I did not say good by. I will miss her greatly and B I am here when you are ready.

Bourbon, the first time I held Baybe, my heart went out to her. I LOVED her! She was the most sweet and gentle glider I had ever met. Now she is happy to be with Smokey. You have my mirror of Baybe gliding, B. It was a true honor to do the mirror for you, B.
