One of my gliders comes to me when I call about half of the time but lots of times she just looks at me when I call her and then just keeps on playing. She always runs to me when she is scared.

Mine don't come to me when I call them, but they ALWAYS come back to me when they're scared . They know mom will protect them!

A few nights ago, Gizmo and Sprocket somehow managed to escape from a temp cage I put them in while I clean their cage out. They got loose upstairs while I was downstairs cleaning. My dog (bless his furry heart) came running to me and was whining and crying like crazy. Long story short, I ran upstairs and noticed the empty temporary cage!!!

All of my training time with my suggies finally paid off. With a few clicks of my tongue, Gizmo came leaping from my roomies curtain rod onto my back!!!! I hadn't even seen him up there and he came right to mommy! After a few minutes of frantic searching and clicking, Sprocket shot out from under my dresser and climbed up my leg to nuzzle with her boyfriend.

I don't know if it was the clicking or if they were just scared, but they sure came to me when I needed them to. Needless to say, I retired that cage.

Miss Oscar will (most of the time) come to me if I slap my thigh. She usually lands right where I was slapping. I don't remember how this came to be our "come here" signal, but it seems to work for us
