Merlin, I am terribly sorry to hear about Lulu. Please try and not blame yourself, sometimes we just can not prevent unforeseen accidents such as these. Sending you lots of hugs and prayers. Godspeed sweet little Lulu

Oh no! I'm so sorry to hear about this. Thank you for the warning. Right now our w/d is outside and I keep the doors tight, but if we ever move this is something I'll definently keep in mind!! Sorry again, best wishes!

Merlin, I feel so badly for your loss. I have a washer & dryer in the gliders' room, but my paranoia stems from keeping both doors closed while the gliders are out OR not letting the gliders out while I'm using either one. (one of those lessons I've learned the HARD way, indeed!) Guess I'll have another one now.....

I never, never would have thought of that as a hazard.. I wonder if refridgerators and ovens have the same danger? ..How do you unplug a fridge? Merlin, I am so very, very sorry for your lost. It saddens me deeply to hear of a glider's death. By sharing this with everyone, you will undoubtedly prevent countless other tragedies in the homes of loving owners. Bless you.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss, but I am so glad you posted it. Right now I have no tent so I've been letting my suggies run around in my bathroom, which just happens to be where my washer and dryer are. I block the back so they can't get behind it and I thought it was too close to the floor for them to go under, but I'm not going to take anymore chances. Thanks again for telling everyone, especially this one.
Always, Andi
