We have been keeping busy here trying to add new things, new features and integrated looks. We have added two new portal boxes to the left side, the today's birthdays and the featured members. Featured members are a random pick from the forums. They are randomly picked by the system for users who have posted in the set amount of days.

We will be adding a third box on the left side for articles. Shortly we will start getting articles together consisting of the many health, social, and other aspects of sugar gliders. This will be an ongoing project that we hope many will benefit from. If you have an idea on a article or wish to write one, please feel free to contact us.

We have also added an extra box on the right side of the portal page. This is to help make members aware of current research, sugar glider studies, and resources. Such as the VCA, the study being conducted by students at UNSW, and we hope to be adding the necropsy study soon as well.

In a order to keep things looking consistent, we have made changes to the glider sound page and the GC staff page. When you visit these pages, your style will be followed over as well as the forum navigations including the right and left columns if they are enabled. This will also eventually be applied the the glider names page.

Within the next month or two we will be performing a update to our forum software. There will be some small additions that you will notice. This will more than likely be the last one before we have a large upgrade coming hopefully towards the end of the year. That upgrade will probably be the largest one since the new (current) software was adopted back in 2006.

The next update will more than likely happen within the next 2 weeks. I have to do some testing and recode some things and make sure those work before doing it here
